Izmir is also connected by a car ferry from Venice, a ticket costs €150 a head and €155 per car and takes around two and a half days. Izmir has several ferry connections, including connections to Italy and Istanbul.
Çesme also has ferry services, from Ancona and Brindisi in Italy. Prices vary between €125 and €300 a head depending on the cabin and around €150 for a car.
The Greek islands have their own ferry service connecting Kos, Samos and Lesbos to Çesme via the island of Chios.
